Whenever asked why he became a chef, Todd's answer is genuine & heartfelt: "My grandfather's barbecue restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. I loved the food, the aroma and the whole experience of just being there: The sense of community and belonging. People talking, laughing and just happy". Todd has been around food and the restaurant world all his life. He is eternally grateful to his grandparents as well as the vocational culinary class in high school for his passion for cooking, the foundation & inception of his journey. Todd perfected his craft &  culinary techniques in Ohio, New York, and Chicago  while working in some of the trendiest and most creative spots.  He then made his way to Savannah, GA, curating amazing dishes at Fleeting, the fine dining restaurant at the new Thompson hotel. When the opportunity arose to take charge as the Executive Chef, General Manager and Operating Partner of The Garage at Victory North, he knew it was the chance to showcase his talent. He plans to focus on classic southern cuisine, all the while highlighting the global flare  appreciated throughout Savannah and the Southeast. Todd will carry forward The Garage concept as  the neighborhood spot, the place for great food, conversation, and get-togethers. We are extremely thrilled to have Todd as our team leader at The Garage!
